Biometric and QR Code Attendance — A Guide for School Administrators

Manual attendance registers are slow to take, easy to falsify, and painful to analyze at the end of term. SMS Naija replaces the paper register with biometric and QR-code-based attendance tracking for both students and teachers. Attendance is captured in seconds, recorded against the right class and date automatically, and rolled up into reports your administration can review at any time — no more counting tally marks in a register. Because attendance data feeds directly into the same system parents and admissions decisions rely on, it stays accurate and auditable. A parent can see their child's attendance history any time through the portal, without needing to ask the school office. For institutions serious about discipline and punctuality, real attendance data — not estimates — is the starting point.
