How Tertiary Institutions Manage Admissions, GPA & Student IDs on SMS Naija

Universities, polytechnics, and colleges have fundamentally different administrative needs than a K-12 school — and SMS Naija's Tertiary engine is built specifically around them. Tertiary institutions manage faculties, departments, and programmes; course registration by session, level, and semester; and automatic GPA/CGPA computation as scores are entered. Students receive QR-verifiable Student ID cards, so identity can be confirmed instantly, anywhere, without a phone call to the registrar's office. Admissions follow the same centralized inbox as other institution types, adapted to Tertiary's biodata and programme-selection requirements — no more juggling paper files and spreadsheets across departments during admission season. For a growing Tertiary institution, this means less administrative overhead and a cleaner, more professional experience for every student who passes through.
