Understanding Your Child's Report Card on SMS Naija

A report card on SMS Naija is built from real, term-long data — not a snapshot compiled the night before results are due. Continuous assessment scores your child's teachers enter throughout the term are automatically combined into totals, grades, and class position. For Tertiary students, this extends to GPA and CGPA computed the same way, session after session. Because the underlying data is entered progressively, you can often see how your child is trending before the official report card is even published — attendance patterns, assessment scores as they're recorded — rather than being surprised at the end of term. If something on a report card looks off, your child's school is the right place to raise it — they control the underlying academic records, and can correct or clarify anything you have questions about.
