Why Nigerian Schools Are Going Digital

Every term, schools that still run on paper fall a little further behind. Results compiled by hand. Fees tracked in a notebook. Parents who only find out their child is struggling at the end-of-term meeting. Meanwhile, the schools going digital are quietly winning. Parents judge a school by how modern it feels — a clean portal where they can check fees, attendance, and results any time beats a paper report card they wait weeks for. Teachers spend less time on admin and more time teaching. Proprietors see their whole school — enrollment, fee collection, attendance — from their phone. This shift isn't about technology for its own sake. It's about giving schools the tools to run efficiently and giving parents the visibility they've always wanted but rarely had. Digitizing isn't a luxury anymore — it's how schools stay competitive.
